I am also skilled in programming and robotics. I began my curiosity in computers and how they work since I was in elementary school. I remembered asking my dad how computers worked and how the internet worked. We both sat next to each other every weekend with a "Building a Website for Dummies" book and used HTML and CSS to create my first website code.
Eventually, my interest in programming shifted into creative pursuits. It started with creating my own games using MIT's Scratch in middle school. When I arrived at university, my major in Digital Futures enabled me to study a wide range of topics, including game development, web design, TouchDesigner programming, and Arduino Robotics.
Please enjoy the collection of projects that I have done that require programming, robotics, and digital exploration.
The Room Brightness Scale is a simple machine that measures the brightness of the room or area in which it is used. An Arduino, a few wires, three resistors, two LEDs, a breadboard, and a photoresistor make up the device. Here is how the machine works: when the machine is placed in a room with plenty of light or is illuminated directly, the LEDs do not light up. While it is placed in a room with less light, only the left LED will light up. Finally, when the machine is implanted in complete darkness, both LEDs will light up brightly.
Using an Arduino Uno R3, an empty recycled pastry box, some leftover tinfoil, tape, and used straws, I was able to play simple songs on this 5-key piano!
Blending in two of my favourite things: Nail Art and Technology!
Media used: Glove, press-on nails, tinfoil, LED, button, wires, breadboard, Arduino Uno, and acrylic paint.
This is an experimental work using TouchDesigner.
Photogrammetry is a 3D rendering of a real-life object. 3D Scan of Indonesian Javanese Mask, two cakes, and house teapot that was run through TouchDesigner and Adobe Premiere Pro.
I used my photogrammetry 3D models: the house-shaped teapot, Indonesian Javanese mask, and the two cakes to experiment with the effects which I can achieve using the TouchDesigner application. I explored more of what the models would look like if I applied different filters and effects used to animate the rotations 3D models.
The goal of the experimentation was to create variations that are colourful and aesthetically pleasing. The result of the research is that the effects applied to the models were very psychedelic and created a hallucinatory feeling for the viewer. The music that I have included in the final product also adds to the hallucinatory ambiance.
I had a few friends review the experimentation and they concluded that the final effects applied to the models give the impression of a discotheque and retro style from the 80s.
Luminessence is a 3D-printed lamp that works as a scent diffuser at the same time while illuminating the room with mood lighting.
Nora Experience is an immersive documentary where the user is immersed in the world that I lived through every day. Though not all aspects of my life are shown in this "concept" of the immersive and interactive documentary it still proves that our world isn't as accessible as we thought it is for wheelchair users.
In the future, I would like to create more experiences of others with different disabilities as we all have different experiences of ableism. I hope to develop this project into a VR experience where the user can experience my hardships from the first-person point of view.
An automated blooming mechanical flower that uses an Arduino Uno R3, a photoresistor, a neopixel, and a microservo. The pot was made of laser-cut wood and painted.

Wayang: Indonesian Shadow Puppets is my touchDesigner x Arduino Uno3 project that consists of a virtual wayang which is a traditional Indonesian shadow puppet that can be manipulated using some dials and a slide switch. There are two wayang characters in the program that can be manipulated by the user: Arjuna and Shinta. Both characters have their own biography which I narrated. The biographies can be heard when the characters are switched using a button on the console. I have also typed up the biographies if anyone prefers to read along with the narration.
Other than the biographies in the background, you will be able to hear music from Gamelan which is a traditional musical instrument from Indonesia. My project is strongly based on the tradition of telling stories via traditional Indonesian wayang shows. With my project, I hope to teach others about some beautiful traditions of my background country, Indonesia.
